Though our stay at Washington Jefferson At Times Square had some hiccups like a broken suitcase wheel, dated rooms, and noisy first-floor location, the attentive staff and unbeatable location near Central Park made our Americana experience memorable. Complimentary teas and coffees were a nice touch. Would recommend for a budget-friendly city break.

The staff at WJ Hotel in NYC is truly exceptional - welcoming and attentive from front desk to housekeeping. The spacious and clean rooms, great location, and quiet atmosphere make it a hidden gem. While there were small room size and fee for luggage storage, the friendly staff and convenient location near Central Park more than make up for it.

We liked this great budget hotel, nothing to complain about. The venue had a central setting right in the theater district. Plus it was 10 mins drive from The Pond.

Overall had great stay in your hotel. They offered impressive and tidy rooms with 2 single beds, a good working air con, fridge. It had very central location close to Seventh Avenue.

The hotel is vibrant and fairly clean, I liked its very good staff and location.

We loved staying here, as check-in was good, the place met the purpose. The room was relaxing like in the photos and had climate control, a private safe and a writing table. The hotel was set in a central area right by Gatlingburg, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Savannah and Charleston as well as the underground and the main attractions.

Text: The room surpassed my expectations; it was cozy and I enjoyed the daily cleaning service. Although the bed was a bit uncomfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the city. Staff was helpful and welcoming. I'd gladly return for the convenient location.

We have stayed in this silent hotel for 10 nights, everything was great, the location was ideal close to everything you'd want. The staff were superbly friendly, accommodating, would happily return. No complaints, thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

So, the elevator took a little siesta during our trip, and my crutch-clad pal got an impromptu stair workout. But hey, the shining city view made it all worthwhile.

Staff were beautiful, wi-fi was stable, and I loved its top location short walk to all subways, restaurants, groceries and clubs, subway lines and restaurants. The room was excellent, functional and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a personal safe and a fridge.

Lovely rooms, awesome location, super friendly staff. 50th Street subway stop is an easy walk to the place, some 10 minutes on foot.

I chose Washington Jefferson At Times Square mainly for its convenient location near Times Square, and the team here pleasantly surprised me with their route assistance and insider tips. I also enjoyed the seasonal events at Restaurant Row, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Even if they are details: the TV only turned on once out of 4 and reception was very bad, wifi was working very badly (permanently disconnected, flow close to zero), blind was broken, twice water problems in a week (once warm water and on the last day, no water), air conditioning that could not be set at the temperature level.

Great location near Times Square and comfy rooms, surrounded by plenty of dining options. Appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee in the morning and the friendly and attentive staff members. The only downside was the room size, a bit cramped for three people, but overall, still a cozy and clean place to crash after exploring the city.🌟

We got another room (smaller) than the picture in the booking confirmation. Only one, a tiny wardrobe, and there was no room for suitcases, when opening one, it was difficult to go to the bathroom.

the room was clean and smelled fresh - with big windows and extremely comfortable beds. the location was great with lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The woman who helped me check-in - Dobrine - was absolutely wonderful - very sweet and welcoming.

Parking is separate. USD 60 a day!!! Expensive. . Morning coffee is just that, coffee. And they pick it up at 10. Early. Being only coffee, and with the cold weather in winter, it could be available all day. In other hotels we went to after that, it was.

Spacious Room and Renovated Facilities Stand Out. the room was exceptionally spacious compared to typical New York accommodations, and the recently renovated facilities added to the comfort of the stay. However, the thin walls and noise from neighboring rooms were a downside that affected the overall experience.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, just 3 blocks from Times Square. . . Very clean room and big comfortable bed . A very good point is the complimentary coffee that they had every morning at the door.

We didn't like that the room was too small with hardly any room to open the bags. air heating was difficult to adjust, air was cold and did not heat the room. Low pressure in the shower. Unpleasant staff.

hotel is located in the heart of Manhattan. All sights are within walking distance. There are several subway stations and many restaurants nearby. size of the room is normal, bathroom has all the sanitary amenities.

The hotel staff was very kind. They changed my room because mine was very noisy outside and they didn't give me any trouble. Also the location is very good in the center of Manhattan.

Breakfast is not included and they charge $2 per suitcase on the day of check out.

perfect hotel for a city holiday! incredible location. only 5 minutes walk to times square, subway stations in the immediate vicinity. comfortable bed. we slept very well, the room is a little bit small! it is enough to sleep in. the bathroom with shower-bathtub, washbasin and toilet was also very clean! even if it looks a bit older. the room was very clean and was cleaned every day, service staff was always friendly and helpful and ordered us a cheap bus transfer back to the airport, all in all. we found our stay in new york very pleasant. the hotel is already a bit older and you can see that. but everything is very clean and service is also very good! price performance was perfect for us. (we paid just under 800€ for 6 nights in early april), we would go to this hotel again! ps. we are both in our mid 20's and only used the hotel at night to sleep.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind and energetic, making our stay even more enjoyable. From the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone was very pleasant and apologized for the road construction in front of the hotel. the location is absolutely amazing, within a 10-minute walk of Times Square and about 20 minutes from the Empire State Building. It was great and easy walking distance to Central Park. the room service was not provided, only coffee and water, which was a bit inconvenient, but the staff were always there to assist.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms. While the staff were friendly and the beds were spotless, we noticed that the wall-to-wall carpet was quite dirty and even sticky in places.

I had my heart set on exploring Times Square, so I chose the Washington Jefferson At Times Square for its convenient location. The hotel's team went above and beyond to provide helpful route assistance and insider tips, making my visit effortless. Additionally, I loved the seasonal events hosted at Restaurant Row, such as the 9th Avenue Food Festival and food trucks.

We had a fantastic stay at WJ! We were in NYC for 3 nights and found the queen sized room to be comfortable and affordable. The staff was accommodating, providing a fridge and extra pillows upon request. The location was perfect, close to Times Square but not too busy. Plus, it was right by Broadway theaters, making it easy to catch a show. The daytime service staff were friendly and treated us like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Single Room I stayed in was cozy and easy to navigate with my wheelchair. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had all the necessary grab bars for safety. It felt like a home away from home.

Our stay at the hotel in the heart of New York City's Theater District was made exceptional by the friendly and accommodating staff. We were just moments from the bright lights of Broadway and the iconic theaters, allowing us convenient access to the world-famous Gershwin Theater to enjoy Broadway shows like Wicked, Aladdin, Hamilton, and Beetlejuice. We especially loved being within walking distance of the world-famous ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center, offering a quintessential New York City experience with incredible panoramic views of the city.

My wife says that a kids' play area or activity room would make the hotel even more family-friendly.
